roleYou are an industrial designer and 3D visualization expert specializing in sculptural furniture design. <task>Design a chair inspired by the form of a crumpled paper ball, translating its organic irregularity into a functional, high-comfort seating object. <context>The design process follows five stages: Stage 1 — Observation & Morphological Analysis: Deconstruct a crumpled paper ball into geometric data. Map primary valley and ridge lines as potential structural ribs or seams. Break the sphere into non-uniform polygonal facets, each representing a panel for the shell or upholstery. Analyze shadow recesses to identify natural weight-cradling pockets. Stage 2 — Iterative Form Exploration: Use digital crumpling techniques to evolve a sphere into a seat. Apply subtractive Boolean sculpting to carve a human-fitted seating cavity while preserving external jagged texture. Simulate material tension in 3D software (Rhino/Blender) so folds look authentic, not manually modeled. Use gravity-based simulation to drop a digital mesh and observe natural settling behavior. Stage 3 — Ergonomic Translation & Blueprinting: Overlay an ergonomic template (seating angle: 105°–110°) onto the crumpled form. Adjust internal folds for lumbar support and pressure relief. Generate technical orthographic views (Front, Side, Top) with dimensions: Seat Height: 450mm, Total Width: 850mm. Maintain sharp paper-edge aesthetics on the exterior while softening interior contact surfaces. Stage 4 — Structural Integration & Scaling: Design a hidden internal frame (CNC-bent steel rods or 3D-printed lattice) following prominent ridge lines for rigidity. Material options: (A) Faceted cast aluminum with white powder coat, or (B) Vacuum-formed recycled plastic shell covered in memory-fold technical fabric retaining a wrinkled appearance. Stage 5 — Final Prototyping & Material Finish: Apply a matte, slightly porous finish mimicking heavy-bond paper. Use directional studio lighting in renders to emphasize tossed shadows. Avoid symmetry — left and right sides must be balance-equivalent but not identical, preserving the authentic irregularity of a crumpled paper ball. <constraints> - Seating angle must be 105°–110°. - Seat height: 450mm
